Confirmed by 0 jumpers
A granite waterslide on the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie above Lander: the river runs down a slick slab and drops about 10 feet into a pool that Lander kids have been sliding into for generations. More a slide than a cliff, and the best introduction to jumping in the Wind Rivers.

Warnings
Do not slide during high water — in early summer the river is pushing hard and people get banged off the rocks. The slab is slick above the drop, which is the point, but it also means a slip starts the ride early. Wear something you don't mind sanding through.
Access
Popo Agie Falls Trail from Bruce's Picnic Area at the top of Sinks Canyon Road, about 8 miles southwest of Lander. It is 1.5 miles each way with a gentle climb; the slide is at the falls. Free trailhead parking, no fee.
Best conditions
Late July through early September, once flows drop. The trail is dusty and hot by mid-afternoon.
