Warnings

The city discourages jumping here: undercurrents, hidden rocks in the shallower parts of the pool, and injuries most summers. The deep water is on the cliff side only.

Access

Park at the Lakeway Drive and Silver Beach Road lot, follow the trail about a quarter mile to just north of the Waterline Bridge, then scramble 20 to 30 feet down to the water. Free.

Best conditions

July and August at low flow.
