Tall cliffs over deep, clear water on the southeast side of Lake Koocanusa where Pinkham Creek comes in, east of the Koocanusa Bridge. Plenty of 20 to 40-foot rock, and a 90-foot wall that has killed people.

Warnings

A 90-foot jump here was fatal in 2023. Reservoir level swings dozens of feet through the year, so what was deep last summer may not be this summer.

Access

Boat or paddle from the Rexford Bench or Koocanusa Bridge launches on MT 37, about 10 miles southwest of Eureka. Some rock is reachable from FR 228 on the east shore.

Best conditions

July and August when the reservoir is full.
