Sandstone walls above a deep bend of the Green River next to the Franklin ghost town east of Black Diamond. The 35-foot ledge nicknamed Kong at Paradise Ledge is the famous one, with lower steps around it.

Warnings
The river runs high, cold, and fast most of the year and fire crews do rescues here every summer. Do not attempt at spring flows.
Access
Park at the Franklin Ghost Town lot on Green River Gorge Road ($5). Short, steep trail down to the river; swim across to the cliffs.
Best conditions
Late August only, once the river is low and slow.
