Crystal pools 20 feet deep beside the 1904 steel arch bridge on North Bloomfield Road, the easiest Yuba swimming hole to reach from Nevada City. Granite rock around the pools for 10 to 20-foot jumps and natural slides upstream.

Warnings
Jumping from the bridge is prohibited and patrolled. Cold water and current near the bridge in early summer.
Access
North Bloomfield Road from Nevada City about 6 miles; cross the bridge and park on the right (free, fills fast). Short trail upstream to the pools.

July through September.
