Warnings
Deep water but a long climb on loose rock; the top jumps are expert. Boat traffic sits right under the landing zone on weekends, so post a spotter.
Access
Boat access only. Launch at Lakeside Park or Lake Chelan State Park and run 17 miles up the south shore to the rock just beyond Mitchell Creek Campground. No road reaches it.
Best conditions
July and August. Lake Chelan is deep and cold early in the season; afternoon up-lake wind builds chop.
