Warnings

Several deaths from falls and drowning, and serious head injuries from jumping the high points into shallow pots. Pool depth is 3 to 13 feet, so the deep spots are small; scout every landing. Warning signs get torn down.

Access

Park at Lacamas Park on NE Everett Street in Camas (free) and follow the Lacamas Creek trail to the potholes. Much of the rock is Georgia-Pacific land, not county park.

Best conditions

August at low flow. Dam releases from Lacamas Lake change the creek fast.
